We’re a community of Jesus followers in the heart of Winchester, gathering people from every stage of life to worship the living God.
At our core, we’re ordinary people transformed by an extraordinary God. Led by the Holy Spirit, we’re passionate about living out the message of the Bible together. Our hope is to be a welcoming, grace-filled church that shares the Good News of Jesus with Winchester and beyond.
Everyone is welcome at Hope — we come as we are, and in God’s kindness, he shapes us into who we’re made to be.

We are an evangelical, charismatic, and protestant church. We hold to the historic, core, and common tenets of the Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles', Nicene, and Chalcedonian Creeds. We also affirm the modern statement of faith of the Evangelical Alliance.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God and is sufficient in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe that water baptism is for people who have repented of their sins and come to trust Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is still operative today and still apportions spiritual gifts to believers.
We are generally reformed in our theology, with an emphasis on God's grace and justification by faith alone.
We are part of Commission, a family of churches that partner together in global mission, united by common values, vision, beliefs, and genuine relationships. We are also part of Newfrontiers.
Behind everything we do is a passionate team of staff and volunteers, all working to serve our community and live out our mission together. Here are a few of the people helping make it happen.

As a charity, we are overseen by a board of trustees who play a key role in governing our church.
