Visit us

Welcome to Hope Church Winchester! We’re so glad you’ve decided to spend a day with us. Our Sunday gathering is our biggest event of the week where we worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, create space to hear from the Holy Spirit and reconnect with our Father God. Below you’ll find all you need to know and what you can expect during our Sunday Service. We can’t wait to meet you! Doors open 30 minutes before our gathering starts so come and get a seat.

Parking & Transport

Driving

We are a city centre church, so parking is in local Winchester car parks. There are four car parks that surround our building and the church sits on a large one way system so it’s best to pick your car park before you come. We are located just off Junctions 9, 10 and 11 of the M3 and are also accessible via the A34 from Newbury and Oxford.

The car parks closest to our building (Middle Brook Street, St Peters, Cossack Lane, Friarsgate and The Brooks) are all subject to parking charges, including Sundays and evenings.  Free Sunday and evening parking is available in the “Park and Walk” car parks (the closest being River Park and Chesil).

See here for more information.

Bus

The nearest bus stops are on North Walls or in the Winchester Bus and Coach Station.

Train

Hope Church is a 10 minute walk from Winchester railway station.

Bike

Bike racks are available outside our building by Middle Brook Street Car Park.

Hope Kids

2-11 Years

We love our kids! Hope Kids is available every Sunday during our 10am service for ages 2-11. Our mission every Sunday is to create an atmosphere where your kids become part of a Holy Spirit filled community, playing together and growing in relationship with God through conversation with him, inspired by scriptural truth.

You can check-in your kids on arrival in reception.

Hope Youth

School Years 7-11

Youth can check-in after worship in the service. We spend time hanging out, getting to know each other and connecting over God’s word.

On the last Sunday of each month, youth remain in the service throughout. We are deeply committed to seeing a generation of young people knowing Jesus.

Connect Point

At our service, you’ll find our Connect Point. This is the centralised spot where you can get connected to “all things Hope Church.” Our welcome team will be happy to show you around and provide you with information about upcoming events and how you can get connected to our community. They are the friendly faces wearing purple t-shirts! Feel free to stop by the Connect Point or find one of our hosts if you have any questions.
