who we are

We are a vibrant community of Jesus followers based right in the heart of Winchester, gathering people from all stages of life and diverse backgrounds to worship the living God. At our core we are a church of ordinary people whose lives have been changed, and continue to be transformed, by an extraordinary God.

We are passionate about the God of the Bible and are committed to being led by the Holy Spirit as we seek to teach, understand and live out the whole message of the Bible. By living out what the Bible teaches, our desire is to be a welcoming, grace-filled community who bring Good News to people living in Winchester and beyond. We want to help people to know their Heavenly Father and to show them his great love through everything we say and do.

Everyone is welcome at Hope. We worship a God who invites us to come to him just as we are - there's no need to be perfect. But what we find is that in God's kindness and great mercy, he never leaves us as we are. He is a loving Father who wants us to enjoy the life he created us for, through knowing Jesus his Son.
