We are a vibrant multi-site church made up of ordinary people who have had a life changing encounter with an extraordinary God.
We meet together on Sundays mornings as one church in two venues – Hope Central at The Middle Brook Centre and Hope North at Kings Worthy Primary School.
We seek to teach, understand and follow the whole message of the Bible, which shows us how we can reconnect with God our Father – our most important need whatever our age. The great thing about this message is that it’s for everyone and our passion is to share it with the people of Winchester, but also those across the world.
Our Sunday morning meetings have a contemporary feel with modern music and are open to participation from the church. We look to see Word and Spirit working together, by that we mean we come expectant of what God will say to us from his word, the Bible, through the Holy Spirit.
A late member of the church, Reg Hall, wrote a fantastic book giving a short history of the church up to around 2005 called ‘Things Are Different Now’. Click here for a free download, it’s a great read!
Hope Church is led by a team of elders led by Steve Chick
We run and are involved in a number of groups, activities and courses outside of a normal Sunday morning meeting, all overseen by individuals or couples within the church. Click to see Who’s Who.
We submit an annual report to the Charity Commission. Click here to view our most recent filing.
