Joining the Church

We are always delighted to see new faces among us. Our hope is that you will enjoy your time with us and want to come again. You might already feel this is the church for you, if so we’d love to talk to you about church membership

How do I join the church?

It’s simple. Fill in one of our Welcome Cards at the front desk with your name and email address and a member of our Welcome Team will be in touch with you. Part of their role is to help you feel at home in the church and introduce you to church life.

One of the keys to feeling part of the church is to join one of our Community Groups. We’ll put you in touch with a Community Group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group. As you will hear us say many times, church is about people, so getting to know the people in a Community Group will help you get to know the church and encourage you towards membership.

Foundations is a one day course we run for those considering joining the church. It is a forum for you to ask questions on subjects relating to the Christian life and how the church is run. It also gives us an opportunity to introduce you to Hope Church and tell you a bit more about us, our values and core beliefs.

The course runs on a Saturday from 9:30am until 4pm at the Middle Brook Centre. Lunch is provided. You are really welcome to join us on the next Foundations course but please let us know if Saturdays are a problem for you.

Alternatively if you have any questions, feel free to contact us, we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have about Hope Church.
